Use of Tibetan Singing Bowls

Tibetan singing bowls originated in the Himalayan region of Tibet northern China. Sources believe the signing bowls were first used in China some 3000 years ago. Singing bowl initially comprised of five, seven or nine different metals including gold silver mercury, tin, copper, and iron however in recent days singing bowls were made by pouring metal into a cast. These bowls are smoother and more comfortable to play.

Playing a singing bowl at http://www.silverskyimports.com/ is simple, one stats by circling the stick around and outside of the bowl very slowly in a steady rhythm. One may have to rotate for a whole before actually hearing anything. Further, an individual may begin to listen to a slight hum and the hum increases as one continues circling the stick around the bowl.

Singing bowls are used for meditation relaxation and also healing purposes. The small bell likes circular motions have melodious sounds when played. This, therefore, creates tones that allow one to relax profoundly and creates harmony between soul and body. When you place the ringing bowl on your body sound waves, reach every cell with vibrations that massage the cells as they pass through their body. This, therefore, offers relaxation to the entire body.

A Silver Sky singing bowl can be struck with a mallet or rubbed with a wooden stick producing a continuous ringing tone. One can, therefore, place the singing bowl on the chest and hit it with a mallet these vibrations move to the chest and further to the entire body. Once it combines ion sensations of audible sound and tangible vibrations the body will enter a deeply relaxed state. This procedure is mainly used to enhance regeneration of body tissues, especially to individuals' performing sporting activities.

A singing bowl I also used in yoga. Rubbing a singing bowl will make it sing and can be isolated into single notes. This, therefore, can be used to focus on specific pain points and pressure is consequently relieved from that particular area. The pure supersonic waves that ring from Tibetan singing bowls wake up our ability to hear with more than one's ears but also through the cells of an individual's body. Singing bowls ensure critical thinking by providing sound synchronizes brain waves thus enhancing awareness of mind and body connection. The sound vibrations also impact profoundly our nervous system engaging one's relaxation reflex and inhibiting the stress or pain response. Sound frequencies created by Tibetan singing bowls restore and optimize the flow of energy in parts of the body where they are required ensuring each body organ resonate in harmony with the whole body.
